THE GIFT OF UNDERSTANDING
I’ll never forget that day...
I was at work, still settling into the early days of my first full‑time job after college. I’ve never been someone who enjoys being idle—if my hands are moving, my mind needs to be engaged too. I’d picked up the Bible many times before, trying to read with understanding, but this time was different.
I tapped PLAY on the YouVersion Bible app, and suddenly everything clicked. The Word wasn’t just words anymore—I was hearing it, reading it, and understanding it. It was like a light came on inside me. That moment changed everything. I started, and I never stopped.

THE BIRTH OF THE NAME
On September 1st, 2019 at 11:15 PM, the desire to write a book settled on my heart. I explored a few possible titles—Pieces, Fragments, and Pennies for My Thoughts. The idea was to create a collection of my daily reflections, weaving together scripture and real-life experiences.
Fast forward: I began to realize that a book might not be the best starting point for everything I wanted to share. Not that I’ve ruled it out—it’s still very much on the table—but I felt called to build something more accessible that allowed my gifts to flow in all the directions I envisioned. So I created a platform instead. And with that shift, the name evolved to "PENNIES FOR MY SENSE."
